Acknowledgement of Country

I pay my respects to elders, past and present, and celebrate the diversity of Indigenous people and their cultures and connections to land, sea and community. Acknowledging the traditional custodians of this country on which I write to you, the Dharawal People.

Materials used to create these ceramic objects, come from all over country. Moments of colonial harm are present in the use of purchased materials on this land, as well as from overseas. Where possible, materials have been extracted on borrowed land (private properties) with acknowledgement to the first nations peoples of said places. Sovereignty has never been ceded, this is was and always will be Aboriginal Land.
